Emergency purchases made without competitive bidding

Report Pursuant to Public Act 17-130 (C.G.S. 10a-151b (c))

Whenever an emergency exists by reason of extraordinary conditions or contingencies that could not reasonably be foreseen and guarded against, or because of unusual trade or market conditions, the chief executive officer may, if it is for the best interest of the state, make purchases without competitive bidding. A statement of all emergency purchases made under the provisions of this subsection shall be set forth in the annual report of the chief executive officer.

PA17-130 Red Tape Annual Report

Report Pursuant to Public Act 17-130 (C.G.S. 10a-151g)

Not later than January 1, 2018, and annually thereafter, submit a report detailing (1) any policies adopted pursuant to this section (polices for entering into or amending qualified contracts); (2) a description of any revisions or amendments made in the previous fiscal year to any previously adopted policies, and (3) a description of each contract entered into or amended in the previous fiscal year pursuant to such policies.
